Rachel specializes in Individual, Family, Couples, and Group therapy. She has experience working with people suffering from severe mental health issues, anxiety, depression, body image issues, marriage/relationship issues, as well as school/behavior problems in children.
Over the past several years, Rachel has worked in a variety of settings including; inpatient acute care hospitals, juvenile correctional facilities, art therapy centers, and colleges, as well as, charter and public schools. Since graduating with her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, Rachel has been working in the school system and recently started working in private practice.
Rachel works with clients in efforts to help each person gain insight and confidence when dealing with life’s difficult situations. Rachel’s philosophy is, “There are many ways to cope with the challenges we encounter. Unfortunately, there is not a manual that tells us how to handle things that are put in front of us. I support, teach, and encourage my clients to ask vital questions and find meaning in their life experiences”.
