During his 18 years of practice he has worked with a variety of populations including adolescents, adults, couples, chemical dependency, Spanish speaking individual and families and gay and lesbians. He specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, gay, lesbian and transgender issues, addictions and recovery.
Education:
Rolando Perez, LMHC, graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from The Florida State University and a Masters Degree in Psychology from The University of West Florida. He has been licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida since 1998.
He is a certified Critical Incident Stress Debriefing counselor who has provided crisis management interventions to hospitals, The University of South Florida, Tampa Fire Fighters and Tampa Police Department. He is also fluent in Spanish. Rolando is also a professional musical theater actor, singer and dancer andhas performed with the Spanish Lyric Theater for the last 13 years.
