Common Questions

At Global Therapy Inc., we are committed to providing the best care possible for our clients. When it comes to mental health, there's no such thing as a bad question. Please review the questions and answers below, and don't hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.

What are your rates?

Our rates vary depending on the therapist, the type of service provided, and the insurance provider.   We offer a limited sliding scale for clients who meet certain criteria and accept most major insurances. Fees are payable prior to the session. If you are using insurance, we provide the authorization for services, and billing and provide a Good Faith Estimate. A Good Faith Estimate outlines your deductible, copay,  and out-of-pocket expenses for a course of therapy.

How long does each therapy session take?

An initial session can last 60-90 minutes. During this session, the therapist will gather information and create a plan of action to help you reach your goals. A general session will last about 53-55 minutes.

Do you accept insurance?

We accept most major insurance providers, including Ambetter, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Select Health, Tricare, Pacific Source, Magellan, Medicare, ComPsych, Cigna, and United Health Care. For insurance providers where we are out of network, we will supply you with a “superbill”. You can request reimbursement directly from your insurance company.

Are you an EAP Provider?

At this time Donna Hunter, LCSW accepts a limited number of EAP cases.  She is on some Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) panels including Lyra, New Directions, CompPsych, and Magellan. If you contact your EAP service provider, you can get a limited number of free counseling services authorized.

Do you offer evaluations for DOT employees?

Yes, Donna M  Hunter, LCSW is qualified as Substance Abuse Professionals (SAP) and can provide evaluations for DOT- employees. The SAP assessment includes a face-to-face interview, a review of the employee's history and job performance, and a determination of the employee's need for education, treatment, or follow-up testing. We understand that addressing substance abuse can be a sensitive and difficult process for employees and their employers, and we provide a confidential and supportive environment throughout the evaluation process and any recommended treatment.
