Rachel Gabbard
LMSW
Meet Rachel Gabbard, LMSW, a therapist specializing in trauma, substance use recovery, and life transitions for individuals and couples. Rachel is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is passionate about helping people navigate some of life’s most difficult experiences with clarity, compassion, and practical support.
Rachel has specialized training in trauma-informed care and extensive experience working with individuals recovering from substance use disorders, as well as couples working to rebuild trust and connection after challenging or painful experiences. She takes a collaborative, client-centered approach, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, strengthen resilience, and develop healthier patterns in both life and relationships.
Her therapeutic style is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and EMDR. Rachel tailors each session to the unique needs of her clients, with a focus on long-term growth, emotional healing, and meaningful change.
Rachel believes healing is always possible. Whether working with individuals or couples, her goal is to help clients move forward with confidence, reconnect with their strengths, and build the life and relationships they want.
